Istanbul Earthquake Workshop Started

Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ekrem İmamoğluAt the Earthquake Workshop, which started with the opening speech of , Istanbul's earthquake risk is discussed in all its aspects. The first speaker of the Dep Istanbul Earthquake Workshop Prof., organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), where national and international stakeholders come together. Dr. Marco Bohnhoff.

Bohnhoff, IMM President Ekrem İmamoğluAfter the opening speech of , he gave information about the magnitude of the possible earthquake in Istanbul with his presentation titled “The Seismotectonic Status of the North Anatolian Fault and Its Meaning for Earthquake Hazard”.

LOCKED Faults in MARMARA

Bohnhoff shared that the North Anatolian Fault Line has been locked faults in the Marmara Division since 1766, and that there could be an earthquake up to the size of 7,4 in the near future. Bonhoff continued his speech as follows:
