International Eastern Mediterranean Tourism Fair – EMITT, which is among the 5 largest tourism fairs in the world, opens its doors at TÜYAP Congress and Fair Center on April 12-15, 2023.
The opening ceremony of the EMITT fair, which will be held at TÜYAP Fair & Congress Center on Wednesday, April 2023 at 11:00, will be attended by the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, government officials, country representatives and leading figures of the industry.
Organized by ICA Events in partnership with TÜROFED and TTYD, Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Fair EMITT will host industry professionals and travelers for the 26th time. The fair, which makes significant contributions to Turkey's tourism ecosystem, is sponsored by the TR Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the TR Istanbul Governor's Office, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Turkish Airlines, and is supported by KOSGEB.
For 25 years, EMITT Tourism Fair is the most important gate of the tourism sector opening to the world, which has prepared the environment for the emergence of many new holiday and tourism destinations in Turkey, hosting the branding of cities and even villages in Turkey and meeting with local and foreign tourists. The fair is an important platform that can offer new business and cooperation opportunities to all participants, professional local and international visitors. Country pavilions, holiday destinations, summer and winter tourism, outdoor tourism destinations, hotels and tourist centers, tour operators and agencies participate in EMITT every year.
In addition to creating many cooperation opportunities with EMITT events, it will play a guiding role for sustainable tourism investments and projects by showing a realistic future vision to the sector. Shaped around the agenda of the tourism industry, EMITT will be a platform where environmental awareness, digitalization, branding, sustainability and many innovative projects of companies that shape the industry and ideas are shared.
