IMM President and Nation Alliance's Vice President candidate Ekrem İmamoğluattended the groundbreaking ceremony of KİPTAŞ Karanfilköy Urban Transformation Project, one of Turkey's most important urban transformation projects. Stating that they have solved the deadlocked transformation problem with the consensus, İmamoğlu said, “The foundation to be laid today is not the basis of such anecdotes. It's not the iron bars that shake when concrete is poured from above. We really lay the foundation and get started. It is not one of the projects that say that I am laying the foundation, and that there is no project, no tender. We do our job properly,” he said.
KIPTAS, a subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality; He solved the 60-year-old property problem in Beşiktaş's Karanfilköy region by consensus. “To be honest, we have transformed how the urban transformation took place or how it should be realized, to another period with the painstaking work we have put forth for four years. We entered the neighborhood. We are working very diligently in reinforcing our people's homes up to the level of single structure conversion. KİPTAŞ General Manager Ali Kurt also shared the following information about the project:
“We are proud to be the administration that demolished with a great consensus, zero incidents and laid the first foundation today in a slum area where approximately 3.000 people live. The area we are in was a slum area that has been waiting for a solution for years. In terms of asbestos density. It was one of the most risky regions in Turkey.
