One Street and One Street were closed to traffic due to tramway works: Due to the works carried out within the scope of Akçaray Tram Project, Salkım Söğüt Street and Hanlı Street were closed to traffic in Yahya Kaptanda.
As a result of the decision taken by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Transportation and Regulatory Commission, due to the construction of the tram, Yahya Kaptan Salkım Söğüt street and the Hanlı street will be closed between 10 December 2015 and 01 March 2016.
Public transport and other vehicles are required to use the Necip Fazil street and Bedesten street route as an alternative. In order to ensure the return of public transport vehicles, the median on Seymen Street is being removed. All stimulant traffic signs and orientation signs were placed on the work. Inspections and controls will be carried out by Kocaeli Provincial Directorate of Security Traffic teams and Municipal Police teams.
