Italian accordionist Pietro Roffi, who went on tour for the first time in Turkey, gave his first concert yesterday with the Izmir Symphony Orchestra.

Famous Italian accordionist Pietro Roffi, who has performed in the most prestigious concert halls and theaters of Europe and the world, is going on a 12-concert tour in Turkey as of October 6.

Considered one of the world's most distinguished accordion masters, Roffi began performing in 6 cities in Turkey, accompanied by large orchestras.

Having given hundreds of concerts in five continents with chamber and symphony orchestras as a soloist, Roffi gave his first concert in Turkey on October 12 with the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Orchestra at the Izmir Metropolitan Cultural Center. The artist, who will give his second concert with the Çukurova Symphony Orchestra at Adana Concert Hall, will take the stage with the CRR Young Chamber Orchestra on October 16 at the Cemal Reşit Rey Hall in Istanbul.

Within the framework of the concert series organized by the Istanbul Italian Cultural Center under the auspices of the Italian Embassy, ​​Pietro Roffi will also open the Italian Language Week with a concert on Monday, October 17th. The artist, who will stay in Turkey until October 23, will give his last two concerts in Bursa with the State Symphony Orchestra on October 20 and with the Ankara Symphony Orchestra on October 22.

Stating that he was very excited about coming to Turkey for the first time, the artist's repertoire ranges from classical music to tango, from his own compositions to film soundtracks.
