New Locomotives to be Used in Czech Republic Railways

Delivery of New Locomotives for Czech Republic Railways: The first of the new locomotives produced by CZ Loko for Czech Republic Railways was delivered to be put into use with a ceremony held on January 28. CZ Loko will produce a total of 20 Class 741.7 diesel locomotives. 10-year maintenance of the locomotives to be produced will also be done by the company.
After the delivery of the Class 741.7 locomotives to be produced, Class 1970 locomotives will be used instead of 28 diesel locomotives which have been in use since 741.7. With the introduction of new locomotives, the safety and performance of the line will also increase. 741.7 million tons of cargo is transported annually in the 190 km where Class 1,7 locomotives will be used.
