Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues its maintenance and repair works on the roads and bridges in its area of responsibility in the center and districts without slowing down in order to ensure safe driving. The Department of Urban Aesthetics, which includes 13 bridges across the city within the scope of the joint renewal program, will perform expansion joint repairs for 22 days starting from April 2021, 9 in the direction of Ümitköy Bridge Şaşmaz Industrial Site. During the renovation, the road will be partially closed to traffic.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues its road construction, maintenance and repair works in the center and districts without interruption.
The Department of Urban Aesthetics, which pushed the button for joint renovation work on 13 bridges across the city; Completed the renovation of the expansion joint at the Şaşmaz Boulevard Industrial Entrance, Yunus Emre Bridge, Ibni Sina Bridge and Farabi Bridge. The teams of the Department of Urban Aesthetics will now start the expansion joint renovation on Thursday, April 22, in the direction of Ümitköy Bridge Şaşmaz Industrial Site.
9 DAYS WILL CONTINUE
Ümitköy Bridge Şaşmaz Industrial Site direction will be closed to traffic for 22 days from 2021 April 21.00 at 9 due to the expansion joint work.
During the renovation works, vehicle traffic will be controlled in the other direction and participation will be completely closed on the bridge in the direction of Ankara from Eskişehir road. For this reason, the traffic will flow from the previous Mesa Junction towards Ankara Boulevard and the traffic in the direction of AŞTİ will be provided from Ankara Boulevard.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which informs the citizens through social media accounts before the works to be carried out in order to ensure a safer and uninterrupted flow on the bridges, will start the expansion joint renovation in the following 8 bridges in the upcoming period:
- Dogukent Boulevard Imrahor Bridge
- Söğütözü National Will Bridge
- Ümitköy Mexico Street Bridge
- Ankara Boulevard Tigem Front Bridge
- Diskapi Bridge
- İvedik Seyran Return Bridge
- Kayaş Ring Road Connection Bridge
- Mithatpaşa Bridge
