Fire in the ski resort of Sarıkamış: The facility, which was damaged as a result of a fire carried out last month by the members of the separatist terrorist organization PKK, is aimed to be trained in the new season.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Governorate of Kars and Sarikamis Governorate said they were trying to catch up with the new season, adding that Toksoy said:
"Our ski center, not only of the region, Turkey is also among the important winter tourism centers. Tourism investors, hoteliers, restaurants, tradesmen and citizens in Sarıkamış and Kars earn their living here, especially during the long winter season. In this sense, our facility should definitely be brought up to the season. "
Toksoy stated that the expert from Austria has completed the inspections in the region and will prepare a report to be submitted to the company that will repair the facility, and that 2 million lira has been transferred for the construction of the facilities and that the assembly works will start soon.
In Sarıkamış Cıbıltepe Ski Center 2nd stage upper station, the chairlift upper station, control cabin and wooden cafe became unusable in the fire that broke out on September 13, and it was determined that the fire was started by members of the separatist terrorist organization.
