Wood Art Gallery in Hamam

The Gallery Hamam Art, affiliated with the Bornova Municipality Museum Directorate, hosts examples of wood carving art. The exhibition, which opened its doors to art lovers at the Dramalılar Mansion, includes 53 works prepared by Woodart Art Workshop trainees who worked hard for a year. The exhibition awaits its visitors until June 16.

The works brought to life in wood by 23 trainees receiving training at the Woodart Art Workshop were exhibited for the first time to art lovers. Speaking at the opening, Workshop Manager Sevinç Tuncelli said, “We are happy to exhibit the works that we prepared with great effort and devotion together with our trainees. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this process.”

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki, who said that art in Bornova is not only the domain of professionals but also of everyone who is devoted to it, said, “It makes us proud to see such qualified works in an art that requires patience and mastery such as wood carving. I would like to thank all our trainees and instructors who worked hard. Art is one of the strongest veins of our city culture and we will continue to strengthen this vein.”
