Fatih Sultan Mehmet and July 15 Martyrs Bridges Served 2 Million 652 Thousand 752 Vehicles
Minister Uraloğlu reminded that on the eve of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Adha, highways affiliated with the General Directorate of Highways and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet and July 15 Martyrs’ Bridges provided free service upon the Presidential Decree. Minister Uraloğlu noted that between June 4, when the outbound journey began, and June 9, the last day of the holiday, one million 479 thousand 462 vehicles passed through the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and one million 15 thousand 173 vehicles passed through the July 290 Martyrs’ Bridge. Uraloğlu said, “The two Bosphorus bridges under the responsibility of our General Directorate of Highways provided service to 2 million 2 thousand 652 vehicles in five days.”
Uraloğlu also stated that a total of 10 million 839 thousand 511 crossings took place on the highways under the responsibility of KGM during the said period.

Minister Uraloğlu stated that a total of 5 million 450 thousand 795 vehicles used the Northern Marmara, Ankara-Niğde, Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir, Malkara-Çanakkale, Menemen-Aliağa-Çandarlı Highway and Aydın-Denizli Highway, which are among the largest highway projects in Turkey and implemented with the build-operate-transfer model, and said, “Between June 4-9, 2025, 1915 thousand 89 vehicles passed over the 537 Çanakkale Bridge, 480 thousand 900 vehicles passed over the Osmangazi Bridge and 468 thousand 592 vehicles passed over the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge.”
Buses Carried 3 Million 322 Thousand 695 Passengers
Minister Uraloğlu also noted that intercity bus companies served 5 million 9 thousand 275 passengers in 645 thousand 3 trips between June 322-695.
Urban Rail Systems Served 2 Million 442 Thousand 968 People
Minister Uraloğlu, who provided information on the number of passengers carried on the Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme, Gayrettepe-İstanbul Airport-Arnavutköy metro lines, especially Marmaray, between June 5-9, continued his words as follows:

Minister Uraloğlu, who noted that 167 citizens traveled on YHTs, stated that they also carried 435 people on mainline and regional trains. Minister Uraloğlu said, “A total of 172 people used the high-speed trains, mainline and regional trains and urban rail systems operated by TCDD Taşımacılık during the relevant dates.”
Airports Welcomed 3,9 Million Passengers
Minister Uraloğlu stated that the number of passengers hosted at airports across Türkiye between June 5-9 was 3 million 871 thousand 108 and that a total of 27 thousand 655 aircraft traffic took place during this period.
Minister Uraloğlu, who also shared data on passenger and aircraft traffic in tourism centers during this period, said, “We served one million 152 thousand 452 passengers at Istanbul Airport. We hosted 189 thousand 470 passengers at Esenboğa Airport during this period.”
Records Came One After Another
Minister Uraloğlu stated that 188 thousand 354 passengers were served at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, 859 thousand 217 passengers were served at Antalya Airport, 100 thousand 747 passengers were served at Muğla Milas-Bodrum Airport, and 134 thousand 926 passengers were served at Muğla Dalaman Airport. Minister Uraloğlu made the following statements in his statement:
“During the holiday period, the records of 2025 came one after another. On Saturday, June 7, Antalya Airport reached the highest number of passengers in 195 with 132 passengers, and on Sunday, June 8, Muğla Milas-Bodrum Airport reached the highest number of passengers in 24 with 880 passengers. On Monday, June 2025, Adnan Menderes Airport hosted 9 passengers, and Muğla Dalaman Airport broke records by hosting 40 passengers.”
