STM will exhibit its military naval platforms and tactical mini UAV systems developed with national resources at the Indo Defense Fair to be held in Indonesia.
STM, which has achieved significant export success in the Turkish defense industry with its national and innovative systems, continues to exhibit its national technologies abroad. STM will introduce its military naval platforms and tactical mini UAV systems at the INDO Defense Expo & Forum, one of the important defense fairs in South Asia. The Indo Defense Fair will be held in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, between June 11-14.
Unmanned Autonomous Underwater Vehicle to be Showcased in Indonesia
STM, which builds surface and underwater platforms for the Turkish Naval Forces, as well as the Ukrainian, Pakistani, Portuguese and Malaysian Navies, will showcase 6 different naval projects in Indonesia. Türkiye’s national autonomous Unmanned Autonomous Underwater Vehicle “STM NETA”, which was developed with national resources and whose sea tests are successfully ongoing, and Türkiye’s first national submarine design for special operations and attack purposes, STM500, will take their places at Indo Defense. Türkiye’s first and only corvette export to the Asia Pacific region, the Malaysian Corvette (LMS Batch-2), Türkiye’s national frigate project İstif Class (TCG ISTANBUL), Pakistan Fleet Replenishment Tanker and STM MPAC Fast Attack Boat will be exhibited at the fair. STM, which has undertaken design studies on coast guard ships, will also introduce a coast guard ship named CG-78 for the first time at this fair.
Developing pioneering systems in Türkiye and the world in tactical mini UAVs, STM will present Türkiye’s first national strike UAV KARGU, which has been exported to more than 10 countries on three different continents, with anti-personnel and armor-piercing ammunition warheads to the fair participants. STM will also introduce the TOGAN, the scout UAV that has entered the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces, is actively used in the fight against terrorism and has achieved export success, and the BOYGA, the ammunition-dropping UAV, to Indonesia.
