Motaş Launched Virtual Card Application

MOTAŞ, a subsidiary of Malatya Metropolitan Municipality, continues to renew itself at every opportunity so that citizens do not encounter any problems while using public transportation vehicles.

Malatya Metropolitan Municipality subsidiary MOTAŞ has taken digitalization in urban transportation one step further and launched the “Virtual Card” application. Thanks to this innovative system that eliminates the need to carry a physical card, citizens will now be able to easily create a Virtual Card, load balance and benefit from transfer rights via the mobile application.

How Does Virtual Card Work?

* Download the Application and Log In: Download the “Malatya Card Transportation” application to your smartphones and log in to the system.

* Create a Virtual Card: Click on the “Create a Virtual Card” section in the application.

* Make Payment: Complete the purchase by entering your bank or credit card information to pay the virtual card fee. After entering the confirmation code from your bank in the relevant field and confirming the transaction, your Virtual Card will be created instantly.

* Load Balance: To load balance to your virtual card, you can specify the amount you want and complete the payment steps.

* Start Using: You can use your Virtual Card by scanning the QR code or your NFC-enabled device in public transportation vehicles. In this way, you can benefit from urban transportation vehicles and benefit from your transfer rights without needing a physical card.

The Virtual Card application will provide great convenience especially for users who are prone to technology. In the long term, it is aimed to contribute to environmental sustainability by reducing the use of smart cards. With this new application, it is aimed to make the transportation experience in Malatya more practical, faster and modern.
