Erol Özver, President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), announced that Türkiye is the 2025rd most represented country in the world with 121 universities in the World Universities 3 impact rankings of the international higher education rating organization Times Higher Education.
Özvar stated in a post on his social media account that Times Higher Education announced the World Universities 2025 Impact Rankings. Accordingly, in the ranking where 130 countries from 2 countries were evaluated, Turkey became the 526rd most represented country in the world with 121 universities and 3 universities managed to enter the top 4 in the world.
According to the ranking results announced in Istanbul within the scope of the Global Sustainable Development Congress hosted by Türkiye for the first time this year in cooperation with the Council of Higher Education and THE, 11 universities were in the top 300, 18 universities in the top 600 and 45 universities in the top 1000.
