Head of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs Ayça Yusufoğlu Köroğlu said, “This summer, as the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, we are in parks, in fact, in public spaces. Last week, the “Dolmuş Sahne” events we started in Botanik, Seğmenler, 30 Ağustos Zafer Park, Kurtuluş Park and many parks, and immediately afterwards our one-person theater plays and open-air theater shows attracted great attention. Today, we are also holding a 2-day ‘International Graffiti Festival’ here. We met with a total of 8 young graffiti artists, 21 of whom are international, at the Batıkent Metro exit area for two days. Our aim is to further increase the quality of life of Ankara residents with culture and art. We are working on the entire summer calendar and a wide agenda for this purpose on summer evenings. Right after the Dolmuş Sahne, we are performing our “Yıldız Oyunu” (Star Play). It is a one-person play and a very beautiful play that won the Afife award and was also shown at Zorlu PSM. Citizens can watch it in the parks on summer evenings.” Online art courses
Within the scope of the “Dolmuş Sahne” project, Ankara minibuses are turning into stages in the parks of the capital this time. Minibuses that carry the spirit of Ankara embrace performances that carry culture. The modified minibuses host local music groups in the parks of the capital between 17.30:20.00-22:28. Independent musicians who produce in different genres of music meet the audience on these stages. Ankara Kültür, which believes that everyone has the right to culture, brings together the people of the capital with free stage performances throughout the summer. On the Dolmuş Sahne, the music group Retro Queen from Göksu Park on June XNUMX and MisucmakerandFriendz from Ankara Castle on June XNUMX will perform.
