Witcher 3 Gets One Last Update

Legendary game from CD Projekt Red The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is getting ready to meet the players with a new update even though it has been 10 years since its release. The studio made a "last patch" statement while celebrating the 10th anniversary of the game and with this update Cross-platform mode support for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S users announced that it will be offered.

A New Experience with Cross-Platform Mod Support

With the update, which is planned to be released towards the end of the year, players will now be able to experience many popular mods regardless of the platform. A significant number of mods that have been used on PC for a long time will also be integrated into consoles. This will also give PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players the opportunity to access content offered by the mod community.

However, CD Projekt Red also stressed that not all mods will work on consoles. Due to content guidelines and selection criteria, some PC mods will not be available on consoles. Console users will also not be able to create their own mods, and will be limited to selected mods. Still, this development will offer the most comprehensive mod access to console players to date.

Future Plans from CD Projekt Red

This announcement comes ahead of claims that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2. CD Projekt Red's presence at Summer Games Fest indicates that new details about the Witcher series may be shared. However, the primary focus is expected to be the Cyberpunk version prepared for Switch 2.
