Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality teams continue their snow removal efforts on the highland roads. With the start of the summer season, the Road Construction Maintenance and Repair Department teams, who took action to ensure that citizens using the highland roads travel safely and comfortably, opened the roads closed to traffic in the Multat and Şekersu highlands of the Çaykara district, the Kırklar Mountain location and the Yedigöller region of Demirkapı Neighborhood. Work continues on the roads closed with snow and driftwood in the highlands.
CITIZENS WILL TRAVEL WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM
In a statement made by the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, it was said, “We are making our highland roads, which are not inhabited in the winter months but where human movement increases in the summer, open to traffic and suitable for safe travel. Our snow and slush clearing works will continue until there is no point left that cannot be reached on the peaks.”
