Registrations Begin for Summer Sports Schools in Diyarbakır

Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality organizes free Summer Sports Schools so that children can spend their summer months productively and gain sports habits.

The Department of Youth and Sports Services organizes Summer Sports Schools to introduce children between the ages of 7 and 17 to sports during the summer vacation and to support their physical, social and mental development. In this context, the courses planned will provide training in football, basketball, volleyball, court tennis, mind-intelligence games, karate, swimming, taekwondo, handball, robotic coding and English.

Registration starts on June 23

Registration for Free Summer Sports Schools will begin on June 23 and continue until July 4. Courses with no quota restrictions will begin on July 7 and end on September 5.

Those who want to register can apply with their parents at Sümerpark, Talaytepe Sports Complex, Mahabad 75 Indoor Tennis Courts, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Seyrantepe No. 2 Grass Field, Seyrantepe TOKİ Outdoor Pool, Yeniköy Football District Field.

Trainings will be held in different facilities

Children and young people will receive training 5 days a week with expert trainers in their fields. The courses will be held in various facilities belonging to the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality.

Sports facilities where courses will be held

The courses will be held in Sümerpark, Yeniköy Neighborhood Field, Gökkuşağı Neighborhood Field, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality No. 1 Grass Field, Seyrantepe TOKİ Outdoor Pool, Talaytepe Sports Complex, 75 Indoor Tennis Courts.

There will also be English education

In addition to sports branches, A3-A8 level English lessons will be given 1 days a week for students from 2rd to 5th grades.

The daily hours of the course programs will be planned by the branch instructors and announced to the parents.
