
ESHOT, İZULAŞ, İZDENİZ, Metro and Tramway companies affiliated with the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, İZTAŞIT vehicles and İZBAN, operated by the Metropolitan Municipality-TCDD partnership, will be free of charge during the Eid al-Adha between June 6 and June 9.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality made arrangements in urban public transportation during Eid al-Adha. İZBAN, which is operated by the public transportation institutions and organizations affiliated with Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and the Metropolitan-TCDD partnership, will provide free service during Eid al-Adha.
Bus times
ESHOT, İZULAŞ and İZTAŞIT have prepared a special timetable with additional trips for Eid al-Adha. In order to facilitate transportation for citizens, necessary vehicle reinforcements were made to the lines that provide access to the Izmir Bus Terminal and that may experience congestion especially on the main axes. Orman Köyü lines will also continue to operate throughout the holiday. ESHOT's Baykuş Trips will also be from Gaziemir, Çiğli, Bornova, Buca and Narlıdere districts to Konak every day of the week from midnight until morning. Buses will make additional trips to all cemeteries in the city on the eve (Thursday, June 5) and the first three days of the holiday.
Metro and tram schedule
Metro, tram and ferry services will continue uninterrupted. Services on the Izmir Metro will be at 6 minute intervals on June 7-8-9-7,5 during the Eid al-Adha holiday. The Konak Tram will be subject to a Sunday schedule throughout the holiday. Karşıyaka There will be no change in the service schedule of Çiğli trams.
İZDENİZ ships
Weekend sailing schedule will be applied on İZDENİZ on June 6, 7, 8, 9. In order to prevent passenger congestion at the piers, spare ships will be kept ready for sailing. Owl sailings will be organized on June 6, 7, 8.
