Public Transportation is Free in Antalya during the Eid al-Adha

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality has completed the necessary preparations for a comfortable and peaceful Eid al-Adha in Antalya. Agricultural services, environmental health and animal health teams, as well as police, cemetery, fire department and ASAT teams will be on duty during Eid al-Adha. During the 4-day holiday, public transportation vehicles with official license plates of the Metropolitan Municipality will also be free of charge.

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality will provide sacrificial slaughtering services at 3 locations in Antalya to ensure that sacrificial slaughtering operations are carried out under safe and hygienic conditions. Citizens will be able to benefit from free sacrificial slaughtering services on the 1st and 2nd days of the holiday at the Muratpaşa District Soğuksu Neighborhood Thursday Market, Yeşilbahçe Neighborhood Closed Wednesday Market and Döşemealtı Kömürcüler Neighborhood Animal Market. 5 butchers, 1 veterinarian and 1 assistant personnel will be on duty at the slaughtering sites. The Metropolitan Municipality's Serik and Kaş-Demre slaughterhouses will also be open to citizens for the slaughter of large and small cattle on the first two days of the holiday.

TRANSPORTATION IS FREE DURING THE FESTIVAL

Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Muhittin Böcek, has decided to provide free transportation this year so that citizens can easily make their holiday visits. Officially licensed buses operated by the Metropolitan Municipality, Antray and the nostalgic tram will carry passengers free of charge during the 6-day Eid al-Adha on June 7-8-9-4.

ANIMAL CAPTURE SQUAD

A team will be ready to ensure that citizens who lose their sacrificial animals do not become victims. The sacrificial animal catching team will be on duty on the eve of Eid and the first and second days of Eid.

ASAT DAY READY

Antalya Water and Wastewater Administration (ASAT) has completed all preparations for the people of Antalya to have a peaceful and trouble-free holiday this Eid al-Adha, as it does every holiday. Teams will be on duty 24 hours a day to ensure that water, wastewater, sewage and rainwater services continue uninterrupted throughout the city. While on-call personnel are kept ready against possible malfunctions, citizens can call the ALO ASAT 185 Call Center and the WhatsApp reporting line at 0 530 676 67 67 7/24 to receive support in case of any disruption.

ZABITA PER DAY

During the holiday, the Police Department will be on duty. Police teams will take the necessary measures so that the public can visit the cemeteries comfortably. Complaints from citizens will also be responded to immediately. Citizens will be able to report their complaints to the police station ALO 153.

FIRE OFFICE 7/24

Fire Department teams will also be on duty during the holiday. 47 firefighters working at 648 stations, especially in the central group, will be ready for 24 hours against a possible fire. Citizens will be able to report fire alarms to the phone number 112.

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH IN WORK

The Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Health teams will continue the vector control that they intensified before the holiday during the holiday. The teams that will be on duty will spray pesticides at the slaughter points to prevent the formation of flies that may increase due to animal waste.

RELIGIOUS CUSTOMERS IN CEMETERY

Necessary measures were taken in cemeteries, which are among the most visited places before and during the holiday. 19 district cemeteries were cleaned and made ready for the holiday. Religious officials will assist citizens in visiting cemeteries in Andızlı, Kurşunlu and Uncalı city cemeteries on the eve of the holiday and during the holiday.
