Old Hangar in Kayseri Turns Into Textile Workshop

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality will invest 6 million TL to transform the old hangar structure in Yahyalı district into a modern textile workshop. The project aims to increase the economic vitality of the region.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality continues its transformation efforts rapidly in the old hangar structure located in Çiğilli Neighborhood in Yahyalı district in order to open it to the textile sector. Yahyalı Mayor Esat Öztürk, Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Ufuk Sekmen, Head of the Department of Studies and Projects Murat Baltacı, examined the progress of the project and the productions to be made in the on-site examinations they conducted.

The hangar structure, which was built by the Yahyalı Municipality and consists of a ground floor plus a mezzanine floor and has a construction area of ​​1200 square meters, will be transformed into a modern textile workshop with the support of the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. Within the scope of the project, important areas such as dressing rooms for men and women, a prayer room, technical and wet areas will be added to the existing structure. In addition, electrical installations and power lines for textile machines will be laid in the workshop section, and weak current manufacturing such as security camera systems, fire alarm systems and data lines will be completed.

Machine installation manufacturing will also be an important part of the project. The facility's heating, ventilation and sanitary installations will also be manufactured. The project will be implemented with a total cost of 5 million 961 thousand 820 TL.
