Kurtalan-Siirt Railway Tender Cancelled

The tender for the Kurtalan-Siirt Railway project planned by TCDD was cancelled due to technical regulations.

The tender for the Kurtalan-Siirt Railway project, announced by the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) on April 24, 2025, was cancelled on May 14, 2025. In the announcement published on the official website of the Public Procurement Agency, the changes to be made in the tender documents were cited as the reason for the cancellation.

The project, which is expected to strengthen the region's transportation infrastructure, has not yet been announced as to when it will be put out to tender again. The new tender schedule is expected to be finalized in the coming days.
