International Cooperation Continues in the Development Path Project

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that international cooperation efforts are continuing rapidly in the “Development Road Project” that will carry cargo from China and India to Europe via the Persian Gulf.

Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that the project will open a brand new page in regional trade, saying, “This project, which will connect the Faw Port under construction in the Persian Gulf to the Turkish border and from there to Europe with a 200-kilometer railway and highway, will open a brand new page in regional trade. We also planned to integrate energy transmission lines and communication lines into this project. We are carrying out the necessary work.”

Türkiye's Railway Vision: Locality and Innovation

Uraloğlu stated that Türkiye's vision in the railway sector is not limited to expanding the network. The Minister said, “However, our vision is not only to expand our railway network; but also to expand every vehicle, every component to be used in this network. to produce with local and national resources“Our aim is to shape technology with our own hands and to create a railway industry ecosystem that offers sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation solutions together with our international stakeholders.”
