Public transportation vehicles affiliated with IMM will provide free service to students and staff who will take the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) to be held on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22. IMM will also distribute food packets to students in a total of 38 schools in 38 districts determined by the Public Relations Branch Directorate Mobile Solution Points on both exam days.
The public transportation vehicles of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will provide free service to students and exam officers who will take the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) to be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 and Sunday, June 22, 2025. It will be sufficient for students to show their exam entrance document and for the personnel to show their official documents.
The free transportation service will cover IETT buses, private public buses, metrobus, metro, tram, funicular, cable car, nostalgic tram, tunnel and City Lines ferries integrated into the Istanbulkart system.
Students who want to benefit from free public transportation, which will be valid for both exam days, will only need to show their exam documents or official documents. Free transportation, which starts 2 hours before the exam, will continue until 2 hours after the exam ends.
IMM DISTRIBUTES FOOD FOOD TO STUDENTS
Within the scope of the YKS exam to be held on June 21-22, IMM will distribute food packets to students in schools determined by the Public Relations Branch Directorate Mobile Solution Points. Water, cake and fruit juice will be distributed in the work to be carried out in tents and mobile solution vehicles (Mobile Solution Point, Neighborhood Solution, Campus Solution) in 38 schools in 38 districts.
