According to the decision of the Transportation Department, students who will take the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) to be held on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22 will be able to use the municipality's public transportation services free of charge on the exam day.
Students who will take the exam will be able to use municipal public transportation free of charge between 07.00-17.00 if they show their exam entry documents.
Police teams will train students for the exam
Teams affiliated with the Police Department will also transport students from provincial and district bus stations to exam venues free of charge for 2 days. The teams will be on alert to ensure that students who come from rural districts to the city center, who know little about the city, or who cannot find a vehicle are not late for the exam.
The surroundings of the schools were inspected
In order to prevent students taking the YKS exam from being disturbed by environmental noise and distracted by it during the exam, teams affiliated with the Department of Environmental Protection and Control have started pre-exam inspections against noise pollution.
The teams, which conducted inspections within the scope of the “Environmental Noise Control Regulation”, visited businesses, entertainment venues, construction sites and building areas around the schools and provided information and warnings so that students would not be disturbed by noise.
Teams from the Department of Environmental Protection and Control and the Department of Law Enforcement will be on the field against noise around the school for two days this weekend.
