Computer Class from IETT to High School in Tuzla

In line with its social responsibility mission, IETT continues to modernize computers that are not actively used and establish computer laboratories for the education of young people. In this context, a new computer laboratory was recently opened in Tuzla TOKİ Yahya Kemal Multi-Program Anatolian High School.

Managing the largest public transportation fleet in Türkiye and the second largest in the world, İETT continues its social responsibility activities without interruption. The institution modernizes computers that are not actively used in its organization, considering the public interest, and donates them to state schools and municipalities. With this understanding that considers equal opportunities in education, it contributes to the education of young people by facilitating their access to technology.

90 DIFFERENT COMPUTER LABORATORIES IN 7 DAYS

In the last 90 days, IETT has established 3 separate computer laboratories consisting of a total of 2 computers and additional equipment in 115 state schools and 5 municipalities. In the last step of this process, 30 new laboratories consisting of 2 computers were established in TOKİ Yahya Kemal Multi-Program Anatolian High School in Tuzla for the use of students and teachers, bringing the total number to 7.

With this project, which was implemented without any additional cost, a total of 3 computers were provided to 4 schools and 2 municipalities in just 145 months.

IETT will continue its social responsibility projects in the coming period to provide students with easier access to technology and to strengthen their educational experiences.
