Bulak Canyon to be Opened to Tourism

With the project titled “Bulak Canyon Meets Nature Tourism”, the Bulak Canyon in Karabük will be opened to tourism.

With the project titled “Bulak Canyon Meets Nature Tourism”, which was awarded support within the scope of the 2025 Technical Support Program for Nature-Based Tourism of the Western Black Sea Development Agency (BAKKA), Bulak Canyon, one of the natural areas of Karabük, will be opened to tourism.

The project agreement was signed between Karabük Mayor Özkan Çetinkaya and BAKKA Deputy Secretary General Mehmet Çetinkaya, while the implementation process will be carried out in coordination with the Karabük Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism.

Karabük Mayor Özkan Çetinkaya drew attention to the importance of nature-based tourism for Karabük and made the following assessment:

“We care about protecting Karabük’s natural heritage and making it available for tourism. With the project we have initiated in this direction, we aim to make Bulak Canyon a destination suitable for nature sports. When the work is completed, we will both offer new opportunities for nature lovers and contribute to the promotion of our city.”
