“We will bring at least 3 high-speed sea buses to Bursa”
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey said that he was very happy to open the BUDO Sea Buses Pier and service building with its new appearance after extensive renovation works. Reminding that BUDO provides service on the Mudanya-Eminönü line every day of the week, President Bozbey said, “Currently, with our 332 high-speed sea buses, each with a capacity of 5 passengers, and our qualified personnel, we provide an exemplary service in sea transportation. We increase the number of trips in the summer months. We increased it to 12 during the week and 14 on the weekends. This increase is a result of the determined investments we made in our transportation infrastructure. We are conducting research to add to our high-speed sea buses. We plan to bring at least 3 more high-speed sea buses to Bursa. We are after providing not only more but also better, more comfortable and safer service. This structure has been transformed into a structure befitting the people of Bursa and Mudanya. These facilities will also add great value to our tradesmen. In everything we do, we calculate how much the service will benefit the people of Bursa. We prepare and implement our projects with this in mind. May our facility be blessed.”
“We expect cruise ships to dock here soon”
Stating that they aim to create a comfortable transportation network where someone coming from Istanbul can go to Uludağ without interruption and return in the same way, Mayor Mustafa Bozbey explained that this work will make a significant contribution to the future and tourism of Bursa. Stating that they are working to make Bursa’s 277-kilometer lake and sea coastline comfortable, clean and safe, Mayor Bozbey said, “Our work on the coasts continues at full speed. We are now planning to host guests from abroad here. We expect cruise ships to dock here soon. It will make a significant contribution to Bursa and Mudanya tradesmen. We have determined that cruise ships exceeding a certain number cannot dock completely on the shore. We are making preparations for this. Mudanya will undertake an important mission in international maritime transportation. We will further strengthen Bursa’s connection with the sea through transportation. We are connecting Mudanya with Emek Station with a transportation vehicle close to the metrobus in a short time. We will provide uninterrupted transportation from the city to Istanbul. We will also organize the unpleasant environment in Mudanya square in the best way possible. I congratulate you on the Eid al-Adha in advance.”
