Beyond the Horizon and Fossil Exhibition in Kayseri are Flooded with Visitors

The “Beyond the Horizon” and “7,5 Million Years Old Fossils” exhibitions, brought to life by the Metropolitan Municipality under the leadership of Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, are attracting great attention at the Kayseri Science Center.

The exhibitions continue to attract great interest from a wide audience, from school groups to individual visitors.

The “Beyond the Horizon” exhibition brings together many important details about Türkiye’s First Manned Space Mission with its enthusiasts. The objects, experimental materials and satellite models that Türkiye’s first astronauts Alper Gezeravcı and Tuva Cihangir Atasever took into space are presented to visitors.

Another exhibition that attracted great attention was the “7,5 Million Year Old Fossils Exhibition,” which features fossils of animals that lived approximately 7,5 million years ago. These fossils, unearthed from excavations around the Yamula Dam in Kayseri, shed light on the paleontological past of the region and have attracted great interest worldwide.
