A giant contract worth 225 Euros was signed for the provision of the Traction System (main transformer, traction converter, auxiliary converter and traction motor) and Train Control Management System (TKYS), which are the critical components of the National High Speed Trains with an operating speed of 70.626.000 km/h to be produced by Turkey Rail System Vehicles Industries Inc. (TÜRASAŞ), by ASELSAN.
The contract was signed by ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol and TÜRASAŞ General Manager Selim Koçbay, under the witness of Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu.
Assurance of National Trains: ASELSAN Technologies
Will be used in National High Speed Trains Traction System and Train Control Management System, has been carrying passengers safely on National Trains since 2023 ASELSAN branded products will occur.
Originally designed by ASELSAN for the National Train project aselRAIL CESUR™ EMU (Traction Drive), has the distinction of being the first traction drive used in passenger transportation in Türkiye, with a high power density compared to its peers, incorporating a dual motor driver, auxiliary power unit, battery charging unit and internal liquid cooling system in a compact structure within the same unit.
Also developed by ASELSAN specifically for the National Train Train Control Management System (TKYS), controls vital functions of the vehicle such as acceleration, deceleration (braking), stopping, door control, passenger passage and high voltage, while also managing comfort-oriented subsystems such as air conditioning, lighting and passenger information. Designed in a modular structure, the TKYS computer's architecture, control, safety and reliability algorithms, all hardware including electronic cards, embedded and application software were developed entirely by ASELSAN.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made the following statement regarding the ceremony held on the closing day of the Eurasia Rail 2025 Fair: “We are also implementing a 500 million TL support program for the railway sector rail systems, which we will announce next month.
