Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year have begun for the IMM Lesson Workshops, which were established by the IMM to contribute to the exam process for students preparing for the LGS and YKS. Students can apply online to the workshops, where they can prepare for exams in basic courses, follow their development with trial exams, and receive PCG support when needed, through the “Istanbul Senin” mobile application until June 29.
STUDENTS PREPARE FOR THE EXAM FOR FREE
IMM Lesson Workshops were opened in 2022 for students to effectively prepare for LGS and YKS. With 180 teachers who are experts in their fields, IMM Lesson Workshops provide free service to students who will take LGS in Turkish, Mathematics, Science, English, History of Revolution and Kemalism courses, while students who will take YKS are provided with training in Turkish, Turkish Language and Literature, Mathematics, History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. In the workshops, students preparing for the exam are supported by PDR experts on many issues such as coping with exam stress and anxiety, effective study methods and creating a study program.
APPLICATIONS ARE MADE THROUGH THE “ISTANBUL IS YOURS” APPLICATION
While the new academic year studies continue for IBB Lesson Workshops, which have reached the final stage of preparation for the exams, the application period has started for students who will take the LGS and YKS exams in 2026. Applications for the workshops, which serve 8th and 12th grade and graduate students who are Turkish citizens and reside in Istanbul, are evaluated according to criteria such as the student's school success score and family income status.
Students who will choose IMM's Lesson Workshops to prepare for exams next year can apply via the "Istanbul Senin" mobile application. After the evaluation of the applications, which will end on June 29, students who have earned the right to register will be informed via SMS and the registration process will be completed between July 8-13.
Students who are invited to final registration will be able to complete their procedures by applying personally or through a relative to the Ders Atölyesi for which they have gained the right to register, the detailed address of which is available on the https://dersatolyeleri.ibb.istanbul/ website.
