
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality has taken an important step in urban public transportation services and created a new transportation line to Antalya City Hospital. The new line numbered 114, which will provide citizens with fast and uninterrupted transportation to the health institution, has started service.
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Planning and Rail Systems Department continues to implement new projects in order to increase accessibility in urban transportation and provide better quality public transportation services to citizens. In this context, a new public transportation line has been put into operation, especially to facilitate access to health services.
FAST AND COMFORTABLE TRANSPORTATION
The new bus line number 114, which will provide direct access to Antalya City Hospital, started service as of June 15. Thanks to the new line, citizens will be able to reach the hospital more quickly and easily and will be able to both receive treatment and visit patients.
10-MINUTE TRIPS
Serdar Bilgiç, Field Manager at the Public Transportation Branch Directorate affiliated to the Transportation Planning and Rail Systems Department of the Metropolitan Municipality, provided information about the new line. Bilgiç said, “Bus line number 114 has started operating between Fatih Tram Stop and Antalya City Hospital. Citizens coming from various points of Antalya, such as Meydan and Sarısu, by public transportation will be able to get off at Fatih Stop and reach the city hospital quickly with line number 114, which will pass through here. Thanks to the services every 10 minutes, citizens will be able to travel quickly and comfortably. Bus line number 114 provides transportation to the City Hospital via the shared Zeytindalı Street from Fatih and Göçerler Neighborhood.”
