Bursa Metropolitan Municipality has focused on air conditioning inspections in city buses due to the increase in temperatures in the summer months.
Implementing new projects to ease transportation and increase comfort, one of the most important issues in Bursa, the Metropolitan Municipality increased air conditioning inspections on city buses through BURULAŞ field inspection teams. The teams examined the air conditioning systems of the vehicles in detail during the inspections carried out in the Kestel, Gürsu and Şevket Yılmaz Hospital regions. During the inspections, the temperature values inside the buses were measured and it was checked whether the air conditioners were actively working. In the ongoing studies aimed at increasing passenger comfort, the necessary warnings and information were provided regarding the vehicles where deficiencies were detected. BURULAŞ will continue its inspections regularly throughout the summer season and will continue its efforts for comfortable and safe travel in city public transportation without interruption.
Stating that they continue their work to increase the quality of transportation in Bursa, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey stated that the people of Bursa have the opportunity to travel comfortably and safely with the arrangements they have made. Stating that teams conduct air conditioning checks on buses due to the increase in temperatures in the summer months, Mayor Bozbey said, “Our BURULAŞ field inspection teams continue their inspections in different districts and neighborhoods every day. Air conditioning checks are carried out so that our people can travel comfortably, deficiencies are detected and necessary work is initiated. We want our fellow citizens to travel pleasantly. We will continue to work tirelessly for the goal of an ‘Accessible Bursa’.”
