500 Million TL Support for Rail Systems from the Ministry of Transport!

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu gave the good news of an important support program for the rail systems sector in his speech at the International Eurasia Railway, Light Rail Systems, Infrastructure and Logistics Fair in Istanbul. Minister Uraloğlu announced that the program will be implemented next month and that a total of 500 million liras of support will be provided.

Details and Objectives of the Support Program

Minister Uraloğlu reminded that the Ministry had previously prepared similar support programs in communication systems, and stated that this new program was aimed at the rail systems sector. Uraloğlu said, “Our Ministry has prepared serious support programs in communication systems and has tried to contribute to the communication sector. These contributions will of course continue. In addition, we have worked with our colleagues to find out how we can help our sector and our country with an idea, who are trying to produce a product or who are producing it, regarding rail systems that our Ministry is here with today.”

As a result of this comprehensive study, in order to support the sector, a legal regulation is required It was announced that the conclusion was reached and this regulation was completed. Minister Uraloğlu said, “As a result of this study, we came to the conclusion that a legal regulation is necessary to support this sector. We have made the legal regulation and we will announce the new regulation for the railway sector and rail systems next month. We are implementing a support program worth 500 million liras. May it bring good luck,” he said.

This support program is expected to contribute significantly to the overall growth of the sector by encouraging innovative ideas, product development efforts and production in the field of rail systems in Türkiye.
