
The International Railway, Light Rail Systems, Infrastructure and Logistics Fair (Eurasia Rail) opened its doors to visitors for the 11th time at the Istanbul Expo Center. With a total of 17 participants, 85 of which are foreign, from 214 countries, and 276 brands, the fair stands out as an important event that sheds light on the future of the railway sector. Various conferences and sessions are also organized within the scope of the fair supported by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Turkish Republic State Railways (TCDD) and TCDD Transportation.
First Session with the Theme “Strategic Corridors and Local Global Partnerships”
The theme of the opening day of the fair “Strategic Corridors and Local Global Partnerships” In the first session held in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, “Future transportation map, vision, financing and regional cooperation” the title was discussed.
The session, moderated by Prof. Dr. Kerem Alkin, Faculty Member of Istanbul Medipol University's Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, was attended as speakers by Said Muhammed, Senior Transportation Specialist at the Economic and Social Infrastructure Department of the Islamic Development Bank, and Yalçın Eyigün, General Manager of Infrastructure Investments at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
During the session, issues of critical importance for the future of rail transport were discussed in detail. The main topics covered were:
- The impact of the Middle Corridor and Development Path on Türkiye's development goals potential for regional cooperation with.
- Middle Corridor and Development Road infrastructure plans and the vision of national development.
- Planning of strategic investments, public-private partnerships and financing instruments in mega projects.
- International financial cooperation, international development vision and regional integration.

Eurasia Rail, VIP Hosted Buyer Program It hosts purchasing delegations from important countries such as Spain, France, the United States, Russia, Saudi Arabia, the Czech Republic, India and Italy. The fair gives wide coverage to the most used products and technologies in the railway sector of the public and private sectors.
Eurasia Rail, where the latest innovations, technologies and cooperation opportunities in the railway sector are exhibited, will continue to welcome its visitors at the Istanbul Expo Center until June 20.
