Alstom, the global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, once again opened the doors of its 9 sites in Italy to the families, children and friends of its employees as part of the “Ti presento Alstom” (Introducing You to Alstom) initiative. Following last year’s successful edition, the event aimed to showcase the company’s activities, projects and, most importantly, the daily contributions of its employees who play a major role in bringing these projects to life. The events, which took place at 9 sites spread across northern and southern Italy, brought together more than 2.500 participants, both adults and children.
Comprehensive Event Calendar Throughout Italy
The 2025 edition of “Ti presento Alstom” kicked off on Friday, May 9, with a range of events in the Bologna, Florence, Rome and Valmadrera locations. The event continued enthusiastically on Saturday, May 10, in the Nola, Savigliano, Sesto San Giovanni and Vado Ligure locations, and will conclude with a special event at the Bari facilities on Friday, May 16. This extensive calendar of events clearly demonstrates Alstom’s strong presence in Italy and the value it places on its employees.
Emphasis on Mobility with the Theme “Journey”
The main theme chosen for this year’s edition was “journey”. This theme symbolically represents Alstom’s key role in shaping a more sustainable, innovative and integrated mobility. Thanks to the solutions developed by Alstom, people can move efficiently and safely. Children and young people were not forgotten at the events. They had the opportunity to experience the theme of “journey” first-hand through games, workshops and educational activities specially designed to stimulate their curiosity and encourage learning.
Adult Guided Tours and Presentations
Adult participants were also at the heart of the event. Through guided tours, informative presentations and in-depth sessions, they gained a direct and comprehensive look at Alstom’s daily operations. Through guided tours and various demonstrations, they had the unique opportunity to closely explore Alstom’s ongoing projects, the innovation challenges it faces and the daily operations at the company’s different sites. This allowed the families and friends of Alstom employees to better understand the role and contribution of their loved ones to the company.
Statements from Alstom Italy HR Director
Marco De Rosa, Human Resources Director of Alstom Italy, commented on these meaningful events: “Opening the doors of our facilities is a tangible way to share what we do every day, involving our employees’ families and friends and creating moments of pride and belonging. This year, we have chosen a theme for the journey that truly reflects the essence of our work and the ultimate goal of all our products and solutions. This important initiative allows us to present our world in a simple and engaging way every year, especially to the young generations who represent the future of mobility and innovation.” These statements from De Rosa show that Alstom is more than just a manufacturing company, and that it cares about building a strong bond with its employees and their loved ones. The “Ti presento Alstom” initiative is a tangible expression of this bond and attracts great attention every year.
