President Kandemir made special statements about the airport and provided the following information: “First of all, I would like to give general information about Yozgat Airport. The established area of our airport is approximately 3 million 500 thousand square meters. The closed area of our airport is around 30 thousand square meters. There are runway areas where a plane can park in 5 planes. It is an international airport. Annual passenger capacity is 2 million. Our airport was built in a size and capacity that would allow both passenger and cargo planes to land. Therefore, it is not an airport but an airport. Giving the good news of the opening date of Yozgat Airport, President Kandemir said, “Currently, the runway area and aprons of our airport have been completed. 90% of our rough construction has been completed. As our chief stated, the completion date of our airport will be in May-June or August 2026. Currently, the 2025 million budget for our airport in 650 has been released.
