The eagerly awaited first leg races of the Turkish Super Enduro Championship were held in İznik in cooperation with İznik Municipality. The championship's official start was given the other day at Milli İrade Square, while Türkiye's first Super Enduro Track, Elbeyli Er Meydanı, hosted the fierce competition of athletes for the first cups of the season.
Cup Ceremony Held with the Participation of the Protocol
Following the challenging races completed at Elbeyli Er Meydanı, a magnificent cup ceremony was held for the athletes who won. İznik District Governor Arif Karaman, İznik Mayor Kağan Mehmet Usta, Deputy Mayors Ahmet Kaya and Mehmet Hıştıroğlu, Youth and Sports District Director Hüseyin Coşkun, Turkish Motorcycle Federation Officials, İznik Motorcycle Club Association President Yüksel Musaoğlu and managers, many athletes and their families attended the ceremony.
Enduro Riders Overcame Challenging Obstacles
Talented enduro athletes who started in mass at Elbeyli Er Meydanı made a great effort to overcome the specially prepared difficult obstacles. The first leg races of the championship were held in different classifications as Enduro Prestige (EP), Enduro Master (EU), Enduro Hobby (EH), Enduro Youth (EG), Enduro Women (EK) and Enduro Veteran (EV). In each classification, athletes competed to collect the first points of the season by displaying their skills and endurance on the difficult course of the track.
Special Cups Presented from Iznik Tile
At the end of the races, the successful athletes who won were presented with beautiful cups specially prepared from Iznik's world-famous tiles by the protocol members. The cup ceremony was the scene of joyful moments for the athletes and their families, and ended with a souvenir photo taken with all the protocol members and athletes who participated in the event. The successful completion of the first leg of the Turkish Super Enduro Championship in Iznik was an exciting start for both athletes and motorcycle enthusiasts.
