Şanlıurfa Ceylanpınar District Mufti's Office and District Police Department organized a meaningful event with an exemplary collaboration to raise conscious individuals of the future. In the program held for Quran course students aged 4-6, basic information was conveyed on important issues such as career introduction, personal security, traffic rules and internet security.
Security Awareness Instilled in Little Hearts
During the program held in Ulu Mosque, special attention and care was shown to the young students. District Police Department personnel introduced the professions of the children with interactive methods suitable for their age levels and gave them the opportunity to ask questions about the police profession. Afterwards, simple but effective information was given about personal security, and they were told not to communicate with people they do not know and what to do when they do not feel safe.
Traffic Rules Taught in Fun Ways
One of the most striking parts of the program was the traffic rules training. The importance of pedestrian crossings, the vital necessity of using seat belts in vehicles and the meanings of traffic lights were conveyed to the young students in fun and memorable ways. Police officers made it easier for the children to learn by explaining the traffic signs and rules with simple drawings and games.
Foundations of Internet Security Laid
The little ones were also given their first information about the safe use of the internet, which has become an indispensable part of our age. Possible dangers that can be encountered on the internet and ways to protect themselves from these dangers were explained in a language that children can understand. It was emphasized that they should not share their personal information and that they should consult their elders in suspicious situations.

Making an evaluation at the end of the program, Ceylanpinar District Mufti Mehmet Emin Erturk thanked the District Police Department and everyone who contributed to the program for this meaningful cooperation that contributes to the children's development as conscious individuals. It was stated that such events are of great importance for children to learn the right information at an early age and to live a safe life.
