Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, which has taken decisive steps to bring the city's transportation infrastructure to the strongest level, has started the renovation work of the Yeniorman Bridge under the coordination of the Department of Technical Affairs. A new bridge that will meet the transportation demands of the local people and will be resistant to all kinds of negative possibilities is being built instead of the old bridge that does not meet today's standards and is inadequate for regional transportation. Pre-Demolition Preparations Completed, Bored Pile Works Started
The Metropolitan Municipality teams have completed the necessary preliminary preparations to completely demolish the deformed existing bridge. The demolition process of the bridge line, which is closed to transportation, will begin shortly. On the other hand, an important stage has been passed for the construction of the new bridge and bored pile work has begun. The new bridge, 47 meters long ve 16 meters wide In order to strengthen the foundation of the bridge, the preliminary preparations for bored piles were meticulously completed.
48 Bored Piles Will Be Driven Into The Foundation
In order to establish the new bridge on solid and safe ground, a total of 48 bored piles will be used. These bored piles of different diameters will be driven tens of meters deep into the ground with great care to form the foundation of the bridge. In this way, the local people will be able to travel over the stream safely and without any problems for many years.
