Preparations are underway for the Sivas leg of the Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train (YHT) Line. A feverish restoration work is underway in the structures located right next to the historical station building, which will serve as a YHT station in the future.
Sivas Governor Yılmaz Şimşek, AK Party TBMM Group Chairman Abdullah Güler and AK Party Sivas Deputy Hakan Aksu visited the restoration site and received detailed information about the work. Contractor company officials briefed the delegation on the progress of the project.
Governor Şimşek and the accompanying deputies wished the workers involved in the restoration work well and emphasized the importance of the project. This review reveals the great importance of the Ankara-Sivas YHT Line for Sivas and the meticulous effort made to complete the project smoothly. With the completion of the restoration, a modern YHT station will be put into service in Sivas while preserving the historical texture.
