Delivery Ceremony Held at Kocaeli Fire Department
The delivery of the new equipment to the Kocaeli Fire Department was held in a special ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Hyundai Motor Turkey Administrative Units General Manager Barbaros Yıldırım and Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department Head Ömer İslamoğlu, as well as fire department personnel. 2 hydraulic sets: These sets, each with the ability to easily lift obstacles weighing 4 tons, will play a critical role in reaching people trapped under debris and traffic accidents. In addition, they will shorten the response time of firefighters thanks to their ability to quickly and safely open locked building doors in case of fire. These hydraulic sets will be able to operate effectively even in difficult conditions, offering safe use up to +120 degrees.
1 piece jumping bed: The diving bed, which will enable the safe rescue of people who are in danger of falling from high-rise buildings or who are trapped, will significantly increase the fire department's emergency response capacity. This equipment is of vital importance, especially in situations where life safety is at the forefront.
8 portable handheld projectors: Lighting the scene is of great importance in search and rescue operations, especially in night operations. The 8 portable handheld projectors donated by Hyundai will expand the firefighters' field of vision thanks to their powerful light sources and allow them to carry out their work more safely and effectively. These projectors will also be able to meet the need for simultaneous lighting at different points thanks to their portability.
