Samsun Herb Food Festival Starts on May 29

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, in order to promote the city's rich gastronomy culture and increase its share in tourism, highlights its traditional flavors. 8. A Full Festival Program

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality has signed important collaborations to further enrich the festival this year. A rich content has been prepared for gastronomy enthusiasts with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Samsun Governorship, Ondokuz Mayıs University, Central Black Sea Development Agency, Anadoludakiler and Samsun Tourism Association. The first day of the festival will start with the “Discovery and Collection of Wild Herbs” event aimed at discovering the mysterious herbs of nature. Then, colorful and delicious competitions such as “The Most Delicious Herb Dish Competition”, “The Most Delicious Herb Dessert Competition”, and “Herbal Tea Brewing Competition” will be organized. During the festival, “Live Kitchen Workshops” with the participation of famous chefs and enjoyable talks on gastronomy will also meet with the participants.
