Istanbul Rumeli University was strongly represented in the international scientific community by participating in the International Congress of Social Sciences held in Skopje with a large academic delegation, with the participation of seven academicians, researchers and scientists.
Istanbul Rumeli University Rector Prof. Dr. Istanbul Rumeli University contributed to the exchange of knowledge by sharing interdisciplinary research and academic summaries of social sciences on an international platform.
The congress aimed to bring together different students and academics in the field of social sciences, to develop international academic collaborations and to encourage interdisciplinary interaction. Numerous sessions and presentations on current policies in social sciences were held throughout the event. Istanbul Rumeli University academics drew attention with their reports, especially on social change, education, communication, psychology, economy, international trade and cultural studies.
Speaking during the congress report, the President of the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak touched upon the broad areas of quality assurance and accreditation that have been expanded for universities, and emphasized that such international events contribute to the spread of quality culture.
Istanbul Rumeli University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kara, in his speech, drew attention to the importance of combining advanced works and sharing knowledge production at an international level. Kara expressed the rights of those who have similar activities to be held in the Balkan region in the future process of this congress held in Skopje. He also stated that the university is determined to further improve its cooperation with the International Balkan University in the coming period.
