He announced that work has begun to revive the covered stand, which has left a deep mark on the fans' memories, especially in the old stadium area located in Altıparmak and hosting many memories. In the friendly program prepared and presented by journalists Mehmet Ali Ekmekçi, Barış Yalım, İkbal Turan and Selçuk Salih Başhan, Mayor Bozbey and Mayor Çelik sincerely answered questions about Bursaspor and the city's agenda.

President Mustafa Bozbey began his speech by congratulating the club management, technical team and players for the successful performance of Bursaspor this season. “We are working on the revitalization of the covered grandstand”
President Bozbey stated that the old stadium area in Altıparmak has a special place in the memories of all Bursa residents and that Bursaspor's unforgettable stories were written in this area. “While the old stadium was being demolished, at least that iconic covered stand could have been left standing. However, instead of dwelling on the past, we are now working intensively to revive the covered stand. We are working hard on this issue. If we can obtain the necessary permits from the relevant ministry, we will rebuild the covered stand section as is. In fact, a project is being prepared under this project that will include a special Bursaspor Museum that will exhibit Bursaspor's glorious history. We also need to make the surroundings of the current Timsah Arena lively day and night and bring significant income to the club. President Enes Çelik and his management are carrying out important work on this issue and we are ready to provide all kinds of support. Our friends are also working on a special project for the area between the stadium and the metro station. We have fixed many of the deficiencies in the stadium and we will complete the remaining deficiencies together,” he said.
The Foundation of the Atatürk Sports Hall is Being Laid
Mayor Bozbey also celebrated the 19th of May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day with enthusiasm and gave another important piece of good news that will crown this meaningful day. Reminding that the foundation of the Atatürk Sports Hall will be laid on this special day, Mayor Bozbey said, “A study was done on this subject before, but we stopped this project after we took office. We replanned its infrastructure and revised its capacity to 5 people. In this way, we will have brought an important sports hall to the center of our city. Bursa will rise with its sports, historical and cultural values and become one of the world's leading cities. Bursa has a very high potential and we must increase the number of our facilities to reveal this potential. Only then can we bring our youth to the forefront and raise successful individuals in every branch of sports.”
“Bursaspor Must Be an Example”
Bursaspor President Enes Çelik stated that when the common denominator is 'Bursaspor', city administrators and fans come together strongly and expressed that seeing all city administrators at the matches makes them happy. President Çelik thanked everyone who supported them during this difficult process and said, “Bursaspor needs to be an example to other clubs with the visionary projects it will carry out, the permanent income sources it will create and a transparent foundation system that everyone will trust. Hopefully, we are progressing well on this path. There is not enough space around the current stadium to meet people's social needs. At least 3 matches will be played per month and tens of thousands of fans will come here. We will create modern and useful areas where these people can meet their cafes and other needs. We started an important process with Bursa Metropolitan Municipality on this issue. Then, the process at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change was completed and we came to the license stage. "Maybe these shops can be ready for next season and a nice social environment will be created for our fans, I hope," he said.
Reminding that many groups have made significant contributions to Bursaspor in terms of providing permanent income, President Enes Çelik expressed that he visited all political parties in the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Council and thanked them for their support. Çelik stated that politicians rather than industrialists gave more support to the 'I am with you' campaign launched to support Bursaspor, and underlined that the Bursaspor issue should be kept out of politics. Referring to transfer activities, President Çelik announced that they have completed 5 transfers and plan to make at least 5 more. He also stated that the transfer board is open and that they have not experienced any problems.
