The efforts of the Koramaz Valley, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Temporary List as a result of the meticulous work carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality, to become an important tourism center are virtually crowned with the "A Love Story Koramaz Valley Museum".
Life in the Valley Will Come to Life in 739 Square Meters
The Koramaz Valley Museum, which will provide service in a total area of 739 square meters (with a den, ground floor, first floor and courtyard sections) and was built with a cost of 5 million TL, will convey the rich history, unique natural beauties and unique cultural riches of the Büyük Bürüngüz, Subaşı, Küçük Bürüngüz, Ağırnas, Turan, Vekse and Bağpınar neighborhoods to visitors through impressive reenactments and historical objects.
The Museum Was Designed Based on a Romantic Story
The concept of the Koramaz Valley Museum, which was brought to life in the restored historical Çerkes Mustafa Bey Mansion in the Ağırnas Neighborhood of the Melikgazi district, was built on the touching love story of a young Muslim man, Oğuz, and a Greek girl, Suzan. Through this romantic narrative, visitors will both get to know the surroundings in the fascinating atmosphere of the Koramaz Valley and gain comprehensive information about the historical and cultural heritage of the region.
