Kayseri Participates in the General Assembly of the International Agricultural Cities Association

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality continues to contribute to agriculture and animal husbandry related projects by participating in the 24rd Ordinary General Assembly of the International Agricultural Cities Association (AgriCities), which has 310 members from 3 countries.

Under the leadership of Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality continues to prioritize projects in the field of agriculture and animal husbandry in order to strengthen rural development and provide support to producers. Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, one of the municipalities that provide the strongest support to agriculture and animal husbandry in Türkiye, participated in the 3rd Ordinary General Assembly of the International Association of Agricultural Cities (AgriCities).

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department Head Yasin Harmancı attended the meeting held in Konya Çatalhöyük as a representative.

The General Assembly emphasized the need to develop exemplary projects in collaboration with other cities and countries around the world. Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality is also determined to take an active role in the development of these projects.

During the General Assembly, participants shared important ideas on various agricultural policies and rural development, and expressed their hope that the decisions taken would make great contributions to the region, cities and the agricultural sector. Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality aims to take stronger steps in the field of rural development with such international collaborations.
