Setting sail for a sustainable future, the İzocam Sailing Team draws attention with its consistent performance at the Schüco-BAYK 2025 Winter Trophy. The successful team now sets its sights on the final race on May 24-25.
Setting sail with the motto of “Insulation for Today, Investment for Sustainable Tomorrow”, İzocam Sailing Team attracted attention with its successful performance in the races it participated in as part of the Schüco-BAYK 2025 Winter Trophy organized by Bodrum Open Sea Sailing Sports Club (BAYK) this year. The team is now continuing its preparations to compete in the 24th and final leg to be held on May 25-7.
Coming in third place in the first leg of the Schüco-BAYK 7 Winter Trophy, which consists of 2025 stages in total, held on January 11-12, İzocam Sailing Team took home the second place trophy in the fourth leg on March 3-8. Coming in third place in the sixth leg of the trophy on April 9-4, İzocam Sailing Team was among the notable teams in the rankings.
The team, which has been struggling with the waves throughout the year, is aiming for the best ranking in the final leg to be held on May 24-25. Izocam evaluates this sports journey not only as a racing experience but also as an awareness campaign in terms of sustainability and environmental awareness.
