The Ministry of National Defense announced the start of the International Anatolian Ankasi-2025 Exercise, which will be hosted by Türkiye, in a post on its official social media account.
The ministry's statement included the following statements:
The exercise, which will be hosted by Türkiye and held between May 12-23, 2025, will be attended by the USA, Germany, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Italy, Qatar, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Saudi Arabia. The exercise will include elements from the Turkish Land, Naval, Air Forces, Gendarmerie and Coast Guard.”
With this statement, it was officially announced that a large multinational military exercise hosted by Türkiye has started. The fact that different countries and elements of the Turkish Armed Forces will be involved in the exercise shows that the exercise will be comprehensive and multifaceted. The International Anatolian Ankasi-2025 Exercise is expected to strengthen military cooperation and coordination between the participating countries.
