Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality has increased the bicycle path to 100 km in order to popularize the use of bicycles, an environmentally friendly and healthy means of transportation, and to use them comfortably, safely and conveniently in the city center.
Offering an environmentally friendly and healthy transportation alternative with the Gazibis project it has implemented, the Metropolitan Municipality continues to develop bicycle paths, which are safe transportation.
SAFE TRANSPORTATION WITH BICYCLE PATH
In addition to the bike paths, there are 17 bike repair stations located in the city center to facilitate transportation, providing great convenience to users. For cyclists, there are specially designed trash cans on the bike paths.
Supporting citizens to integrate bicycles into their daily lives, the Metropolitan Municipality offers the opportunity to find 7 rental bicycles at 108 different locations and facilitates the opportunities with 57 bicycle parking spaces.
120 THOUSAND BIKES WERE DISTRIBUTED TO THE PEOPLE OF GAZİŞEHİR
Under the leadership of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, a total of 120 thousand bicycles, made ready for use with domestic and national production, were distributed to various professional groups, young people and children in order to protect a healthy life and the environment.
