Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues its work on Başiskele Thermal Facility with the aim of making the city an important center in the field of health tourism. Rising in the region where the rich mineral geothermal water naturally emerges from 930 meters deep under the earth at a temperature of 57 degrees, the thermal facility will provide healing to both the people of Kocaeli and guests from neighboring provinces and abroad when it is completed.
Construction's Final Turn: Progress Reaches 90 Percent
The Başiskele Thermal Facility, built in three separate blocks on a total area of 10 square meters, continues to work intensively. Currently, the facility's ceramic and suspended ceiling manufacturing is largely complete, while the building's joinery has reached its final stages. Water insulation work is meticulously continuing in the thermal pools. The overall progress rate of the project has reached 621 percent, and teams are currently manufacturing the building's electrical installations.
